How to Steam Your Pot at Home
Never steamed seafood before? Don’t worry. It’s easier than you think, and we provide step-by-step instructions with every order. But here’s the gist:
Add liquid. Pour 2 cups of water (or beer or wine, if you’re feeling adventurous!) right into your pot.
Bring to a boil. Cover the pot with the lid and place it on your stovetop over high heat, and follow along with our cooking instructions.
Steam it up. After it steams, pop off the lid, add your shrimp and season to your liking. Put the lid back on and steam until your shrimp are perfectly pink.
Pour it out. Carefully remove the pot from the heat, then pour the contents onto a large tray or directly onto a covered table.
Dig in! No forks necessary—just roll up your sleeves and enjoy.
